Over the past two weeks or so there's been a couple of teases from Overwatch about a new character. Well the time is here for you to be able to meet Orisa, the latest character to join the Overwatch forces! Catch up on the robotics prodigy Efi Oladele and take a little look at the Origin of Orisa! From the official article on the Overwatch website, it does appear that they know that there's tweaks that are needed but play into the robots needing to learn by saying that she's still learning to optimally perform her function. Which leads us to believe she might be a little broken at first, but you will all have to let us know how it goes after you play on the Overwatch PTR! Some more information about her: Role: Tank - Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once. Abilities: Fusion Driver Orisa's automatic projectile cannon delivers sustained damage, but slows her movement while she fires it Fortify Orisa temporarily reduces damage she takes, and cannot be affected by action-impairing effects. Halt Orisa launches a graviton charge which she can detonate, slowing nearby enemies and pulling them towards the explosion. Protective Barrier Orisa throws out a stationary barrier that can protect her and her allies from enemy fire. Supercharger Orisa deploys a device to increase damage inflicted by allies within her line of sight. For a more in depth look at what Orisa brings to the table, check out Jeff Kaplan's Developer Spotlight on her. Expect to see Orisa remain on the PTR for the next few weeks while they undergo testing. If all goes well, we can expect to see her in the live game soon. With Orisa being the 3rd new hero to join the Overwatch roster since release, we can now begin speculation on the 4th! Potentially a Defense hero? We look forward to what the future holds for Overwatch. Finally, thank you to @AOBLXIX for collaborating with me on this article! View full article

Get Your Article Featured On The =ADK= Homepage! We've made some changes to the homepage if you haven't seen them and with that, it also makes it a little easier for all of you to write articles that will be featured on our home page! Below will be some information about the best method of laying out the article and some things that are needed. First Things First: 1. Visit the =ADK= Homepage and scroll down towards the bottom of the articles and you'll see 'Add New Article' - Click on it 2. You'll then have an option to select a category, so please select the most appropriate category for your article 3. You'll then see something similar to this screen which is where you'll create the title and then start writing the article for the home page. Article Creation Below will be a basic layout of what you should try to recreate. Now obviously it won't be the same depending on the reason for the article, but trying to keep articles towards this layout will be best for those reading your articles. As you can see, the text is just filler text but it would be seen as a decent sized article plus multiple images (or it could be videos as well). Article Image Previously with all of our articles, you needed to have Photoshop (and know how to use it) to create an article image. We've removed that so you no longer need to go through any crazy steps to get an article on the front page or you don't have to wait until there's someone who can create the article image for you. Much easier right?! So the only requirement is that you upload an image for the article, and there's a place for you to upload it at the bottom of the Add New Article page. Once you have your article created and image uploaded, you'll just click 'save' and then the article will be approved for posting which shouldn't take long at all. You can always reach out to one of the higher leadership to let them know that it's been posted as well in case they missed the notification and they will look to approve it. If you do have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, and if you'd like to see more categories for the articles please just respond to this topic. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN POSTING THE ARTICLE IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY POST TO THE FORUM SECTION THAT IT CORRELATES WITH, SO YOU WON'T NEED TO CREATE A SEPARATE POST FOR THAT. View full article

For those of you who are great Battlefield series fanatics, you have seen the ups and downs of the series, primarily in the Single Player Campaign area, as well as the latest mutliplayer in Battlefield 4, preceding the latest "SOS" multiplayer patches, which was primarily fixed due to the launch of the CTE (Community Test Environment). But it seems like DICE and EA are trying to make it up with their last two DLC's, Final Stand, and, well one we do not have a name for yet. But it is confirmed that Battlefield 4 DLC does not end with Final Stand. As a statement released by EA News seen HERE, they have decided to create yet another DLC for Battlefield 4. This time, they are looking for nothing but player and community feedback on which classic maps you would like to see in the next Battlefield 4 DLC (You can actually participate in the poll HERE). What is even better? The DLC will be completely free. Yes, free, confirmed by a developer over twitter. Recently the DICE development team has been going back to Battlefield 3, most likely to consider new maps for the DLC, and the fluid gameplay. I would not be surprised if many people vote for classic maps from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, as this game seemed to have a lot of positive feedback from the community. There is still more information to be released as EA and DICE seem to be trying to have this information secretive for now, as expected. As a tribute to this article, you can now buy Battlefield 4 for $5 HERE. Also, expect another beta for Hardline before it releases! @[member=Virtue]
