Steam Name: Reetik2000 SteamID: Reetik2000 Stream Link (If Streaming): Hours/Days that you can play: Mostly some hours on the weekends.

Hello, my name is Reetik. My id on almost all games is Reetik2000. I first found out about ADK during my early years in Planetside 2. Now I mostly play on Ps2 on my PS4 since I got into the beta version on that although I am considering switching back to PC Ps2. Up until now i've mostly been getting tech help on the forums. I'm on steam, uplay, origin(but only to get PvZ for free so don't try to reach me there), Discord, some other stuff I can't remember right now. The games right now I play mostly regularly are Garry's Mod, Rainbow Six Siege, Warframe(also if someone could get a clan or aliance or something on there for ADK that would be great), Team Fortress 2, Unturned, Watchdogs, Fractured Space, and if I need to I can get back into Minecraft. I am currently 16 years old, into engineering, programming, Robotics(VEX), etc. Going to a great school. Mostly play on weekends and breaks. I do tend to be on for long heavy periods of time with long breaks(just up to about a month though, usually a week or so) Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Is there anyway to optimize windows for ssd storage(as in change location of users, user data, program files, etc. to "D:/" while leaving core windows files in "C:/") while also still being able to receive windows updates?
-
Don't forget, you still need games to play on it.

If you're a student then you can save the extra $120 and get a genuine Win10 Pro equivalent for free. It's what I did. http://onthehub.com/download/free-software/windows-10-education-for-students/ Also if you don't have a decent monitor or other peripherals like a keyboard and mouse and maybe some speakers, try not to forget about it and set some money aside for those. Other than that it depends on how much money you still have left to spend. I should also probably mention that the site only gives you an activation/product key with no download link(or at least it was like that when I got it). You have to go to Microsoft and got to this support page to actually download it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/vlacademicwindows10

If you have your heart set on it, cus I do agree with Wacko and Nova, there really aren't that many options out yet. What you really should do is wait towards like black friday or the christmas sales cus it's way too early right now. If you wait till then you'll not only have somewhat better prices but you'll have more options of cards with a bunch of different models released from the manufacturers. Honestly though, just keep the one you have, you've got a really high end card even if you want to go into the VR market. Just switch out your 500GB SSD for a 2TB Hybrid or get another monitor or something. Even then there's still a limit too how much you should spend and upgrade even if you do get an extra $900 a month. Set it aside for like a vacation or something.

Reetik2000 started following Port Forwarding Nightmare
-
I have a D-Link DIR-890L (aka the AC3200 "headcrab" router) and a Cisco DPC3825 (jank modem-router combo) that Cox gave me. Now when I got the headcrab, I disabled the wifi but I didn't disable the routing feature (aka enable bridge mode) for various reasons. So I'm trying to forward a bunch of ports and for some reason it goes through forwarded on the modem but when I forward them on the router it doesn't work. Both have default firmware. I have two devices on the modem: Vonage and of course the headcrab router. I'm forwarding ports to my desktop, ps4, vonage, 2 hoppers, and occasionally a laptop. Heres a sort of map: Internet = = Modem = = = Vonage Headcrab = = Devices

That would actually make sense. When I uninstaller the cooler, I noticed some of the paint on the board was scraped away really easily to the point when the copper was showing and I had to clean away this rubbery stuff around the screws. Sadly I can check it now, just sent it in. But thanks, that's the only good answer I've gotten after "clear the cmos" and "check for bent pins" and "have you tried turning it off and back on again?".
-
I also checked for bent pins and found none. P.S. Hospital-grade gause pads are really good for cleaning off thermal paste, especially the less stringy middle part.
-
Did both, manual CMOS clear and using the switch in the back. Like 30 times with different bios versions. I've used the versions 1.4, 1.9, and 1.B, all three from their website. :/
-
So my my water cooling(Swiftech H240-x2 Prestige) started leaking and I used they sent me a replacement. To put the replacement in, I did have to remove the ram. After everything was set, I put the exact ram in their exact spots(spots 2 & 4) as before. After I turned my pc on, it wouldn't post and cycles through an error code on the hex display: 0d 19 00 4c 55 I've seen this code before sometime close to when I first built it, but I can't remember what the problem was and how I fixed it, although I think it had something to do with the bios. After testing it a bunch of times, I found out slots 3 & 4 were the only rams slots that would work. If I put anything into slots 1 or 2, then the error code shows up. My Specs: Intel i7-6700k MSI Z170a Gaming M7 G.Skill TridentZ DDR4-3200 2x8 16gb set *Rest of the specs are on my profile.
