1. Mass Effect 3
got the demo. I am not a 3rd person type, but the demo is amazing!
Add me on Origin - JockeysBallsack I hope you don't suck!
2. Mass Effect 3
Mass Effect 2, to me, is the greatest game ever made. I had high hopes for 3 but they went down the toilet a few months ago when they announced multiplayer and had the massive leak.
I beat ME2 nineteen (19) times. I have a problem. Those dreams that went down the toilet? Pick up the demo, finish the single player, and try out the multiplayer. It's sick. It's also incredibly difficult without a good team, even on Bronze (Bronze<Silver<Gold). I was a (very) vocal opponent of the multiplayer, but it's obvious that A LOT of thought and effort went into it. Even though it's made by a different Bioware location (silly Canadians) than the main studio, it's definitely the real deal.
3. Remember how I said I would disappear when ME3 came out? It turns out that even the demo has sucked me off...er, in. Multiplayer is so sick. Can we start a TS channel for it?

ME3? Or you mean MW3? And I'll make any room if people are going to be in it. :)

4. Time to rebuild, advice?

Everything is done, I'm on the rig right now, but waiting on Steam to get back to me about my password. I really should right those bastards down, but I'm too paranoid.
5. Time to rebuild, advice?

Ordered. Should be here just before Xmas, assembled by then, but not really put into action until afterwards once all the out of town family stuff is done. So basically, around my =ADK= birthday
6. Time to rebuild, advice?

For
that msi mobo might be a bit iffy...and for the price you're paying I think you could get a better video card
What do you mean, iffy? You can't just say something like that and not explain yourself. If you're simply not a fan of MSI, say so. If they bash their products with a steel dildo before boxing them, say so. Throw me a bone here. I'm not looking at Nvidia cards due to repeated bad experiences, if you were referring to them as the "better" video card. And PCpartpicker compares dozens of manufacturers and lets you choose, so I'm pretty sure I got the best deal out there. Not looking to OC either, hence the 2500 instead of the 2500k and the regular motherboard.
7. Time to rebuild, advice?

That's because I forgot to add a hard drive: Part list permalink / Part price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-2500 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($206.97 @ CompUSA) Motherboard: MSI PH67S-C43 (B3) ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($84.99 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($29.99 @ Newegg) Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.95 @ Amazon) Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 6950 1GB Video Card ($239.99 @ Amazon) Total: $605.92 (Prices include shipping and discounts when available.) (Generated 2011-12-13 16:08 EST-0500) For some reason it keeps showing the HDD at $43.98 @ NCIX US, which is complete bullshit. 1) Out of stock. 2) When it gets back in stock, there's gonna be a catch. 3) I DIDN'T FUCKING ORDER IT FROM THERE.
8. Time to rebuild, advice?

No. Again, can I run Windows 64-bit with this rig? Also, I added RAM just in case this rig is 64-bit compatible. 9. Time to rebuild, advice?

Okay, my dad and godfather kick ass. They're going to buy parts for me as long as I pay them back with the money I previously mentioned. Here's what I chose: Intel Core i5-2500k 3.3GHz Quad-Core CPU MSI PH67S-C43 (B3) ATX LGA1155 Motherboard Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3-1333 RAM Gigabyte Radeon HD 6950 1GB Video Card. It will run anywhere for $520-$590, depending on the seller. I have an Earthwatts 650w PSU, which can handle all of it. I'm keeping the case. Also, HOLY SHIT HARD DRIVES ARE EXPENSIVE AS FUCK NOW. I have a 160GB internal and 160GB external from my previous build, but I guess I'll have to upgrade soon. Quick question, could I upgrade to windows 64-bit with this rig?
10. Ultimate Gamer Fuel

http://i.imgur.com/NTgPG.jpg 30 calories per can. 4 grams of carbs, 3 of those are from sugar. 200mg of caffeine. Doesn't taste like ass. Awesome name. SLAP Low-Calorie Energy Drink, Frost flavor. ONE FUCKING DOLLAR AT WAL-MART. edit - Man, for an 8mp camera, it sure does take shitty pics.
11. Time to rebuild, advice?

First, I'm keeping my case, hard drive (unless problems arise with a rebuild), and PSU (650 Earthwatts). What I need is a CPU, Mobo, GPU, and RAM. I need something powerful enough to run the latest games (especially Mass Effect 3 ), but not necessarily a beast that will last years upon years (this one lasted 3.5 and is just showing signs of obsolescence) I have roughly a $500 budget. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope. turbo edit - this is post-xmas build, ~$300 from xmas gifts, and just under $300 saved by paying off my car insurance early so i have extra money for Jan and Feb. I hope to build by then.
12. Razer Lycosa... 2 things;

I've had my lycosa for almost 4 years now and have zero complaints except that (like all keyboards) the most used letters are rubbing off one by one. Mainly just the A, S, D, and arrow keys, which isn't a problem at all. I love it, and will keep it until it falls apart.
