  4. Introduction

Hi ADK Community! Discord- Anna Wow- Julianna I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. A wife, mother and grandmother. Prior,I was in the Army combat support. Worked as an office manager and state job, homeschool children. Anyways years ago my husband and sons would game, felt left out as I watched them play for hours laughing and having fun. So one day I said teach me. Played SoF and EQ,and many other games throughout the years. What great times we had. We all enjoy many hours together playing but it opened communication during the teen years with the boys. They invited many friends to the house for lan parties on the weekends. In those two games I did amazing. I was feared by many when I would sign into SoF… it was hilarious. In EQ I played a cleric. OMG when they first brought me into the game I had never seen anything like it. The map was a line, nothing else. Like a kid; I’d say hey go ahead and die I can rez you… hehe. I would cry when I died scared I wouldn’t find my body. Another healer and I would have bets on which one of us could wait the longest to heal the tank. Laughed many days and nights playing that game.I have to confess I haven’t played another game like the original EQ. It was such an experience! WoW came along and our sons wanted to play that. So I made a druid, I leveled her, raided with our oldest son and husband. The game kept changing and the boys were heading out to start their adult lives and my husband and I were busy,so I stopped playing. Back in the game much older playing a new character, learning and enjoying the game. I am willing to learn and improve! I don’t mind criticism; welcome it as long as it isn’t “hey dumb ass you suck.” I know that; give me some good advice, lol. Enough of me I could continue but I think that’s a good overview. As for ADK a member found me in game one day, sent me a brief explanation of the community and asked if I would like to join. Chatted he answered some questions I had. He took the time to answer my questions while in a dungeon! My husband didn’t join, a few days impressed with the guild, who welcomed me into their community he joined. Being a member of ADK is enough as the community, is wonderful. Thank you for inviting us!
