  1. S+ Major Update

    S+ had a major update today. Servers are currently undergoing an update to apply this new mod update. Change notes include the following: Update: Dec 4 @ 9:07pm - You can now change the side that doors & trapdoors are hinged to doorframes & hatchframes by pressing G while placing - Inclined Pipes & Wires are now 1 foundation long & 1 wall high (note: existing inclined pipes & wires are unaffected by this change) - New Structure: Elevator Call Button (click it to call the nearest elevator to your position) - Updated error message on Pull Repair to indicate it should be used on a damaged item - Pull Repair will only pull materials if the item is not full durability - Medium Pillars, Large Pillars, Large Walls & XL Walls now have snap points for internal pipes & wires(note: the status icons do not work well with these large structures, ie if you place an internal wire at the top and bottom of pillar and its only getting power from the bottom, it will display powered but since its not connected to the top, you will be unable to draw power from the top unless you fill the entire pillar with internal wires) - Ceilings can snap to the top of roofs now - You can no longer teleport to teleporters outside of your tribe - You can now enable public teleportation on S+ teleporters (note: while you can teleport to a public teleporter, you still can not use a public teleporter, that will require a dev kit update) - Improved how S+ Fence Foundations & Supports snap to Gateways - S+ Fence Foundations & Supports can now snap perpendicularly to Behemoth Gateways - Fixed issue that prevented turrets from being placed on structures on the motor boat - Fixed issue with the pull selected code that caused it to incorrectly pull resources used as fuel(ie it should never pull wood from the forge or gas from a fabricator) - Fixed issue that could cause ladders to teleport you under the ground (if Quick Climb was enabled) - Inclusion/Exclusion lists for the feeding troughs and turrets will now add any nearby dinos to their list that are not already included (previously the list was comprised of only dinos that could spawn on that ARK) - Fixed issue that caused the output log to not update correctly when using the Transfer Tool in single player - Item Collector, Hatchery & Bee Hive can be named - S+ Hatchery will no longer collect eggs when its inventory is full Please make sure you have this update downloaded and installed.   8. With the release of ARK Survival Evolved today there are a few things that have been mentioned in the patch notes. Current Version: v267 - New Creature: The Otter! - Endboss and Ascension. - Ice Wyvern remodel and they're now uploadable. - Official System Anti-Duping systems.
  9. Build Server Updates

    The Build Server had an update today for one of the Mods. This is the first update this mod has had in months and brings some changes as noted below. This update is for the Garden Decor Mod. Update: Aug 7 @ 11:47am Adjustments: Slight reduction of transparency of the Stained Glass so that it looks better in full light. Yellow Ground Light can now be placed correctly. Added mod folders to crafting table and to mod engram Removed rotation options for wall placed items. Will snap instantly now for easier use. Reduced mod size by 22mb ARK ADMIN STAFF

    Our Advanced Building Server Has Gone Live!!! This server features mods for your building pleasure. Lots of options for building bases, castles, keeps, forts, villages, and settler areas. There are 17 mods running on this server. 10 of the mods we use on our hive. So that means only 7 additional mods will need to be installed. There is a steam collection located at: steam://url/CommunityFilePage/1089359943 or http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1089359943 If the first one does not work. You can copy the first link post it in a new tab in order for it to open up in Steam. Please make sure to subscribe to all the mods prior to joining the server for best results. This server is based on The Center map and has very high advanced rates for leveling, xp, and stat upgrades. Rates are the same as our hived servers except for 20x rates for stat upgrades for both players and tamed dino's. This will allow you to level up real quick in order to get your engrams necessary to build while being able to keep yourself safe from the hot blooded killers that prowl the map looking for lunch. Connection information: This server replaces our monthly rapid wipe mod showcase server. Connection details are the same as the previous mod showcase.   12. OneLogin Suffers Data Breach

    I don't use any password management besides the storage capacity in my head. All my passwords are secure with Upper and lower case characters, numbers and symbols. Every password is different and I do not use the same password for anything. Honestly I do not trust clouds, online backup, or anything. The old saying is if you can lock it someone can unlock it. I like to have all my data available and within physical reach. What happens when you use online backup and you loose internet or they go bankrupt? You don't have access to your data and I am not ok with that. Basically the cloud is just someone elses computer. Just another name for a server.

  14. Our developmental and testing server has been reloaded from scratch. The server is up and running with ACA 2.0 Redemption for testing on the hive system. 3 ARK servers are running on the developmental testing server as follows. These testing servers are currently running a save from our production server. However this is not a production server and game play may not be saved. This is only a temporary testing and development server. This server will be wiped and shut down once testing and development is complete.   15. ARK Developmental Testing Servers

    New Development and testing server is now up and running with something new. A procedurally generated ARK. Yes a PGARK. Meaning that the map is entirely new something totally different to explore. Currently running 10 mods 9 of which are already in use on our servers and a new small mod. Test Dev Server up and running. IP: PGARK 7778/27017 Please leave feedback on this testing platform as it is new to us and maps might need some tweaking as well as modifiers. Happy gaming.
  16. Over the next couple of days we will be performing a migration from our developmental testing server over to our main box. We have successfully tested this game over the past couple of weeks using the Ark Comes Alive mod as well as some other mods and are ready to bring what we have mainstream. As usual there may be some issues with mods and updates. This is beyond our control however as the way Steam works as well as the game in general. If you have any issues please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can look into any issues you may be having. We want this game to run smoothly but we all know how that goes. Hopefully we will have The Center and Scorch Earth Hived migrated over to our main box here today or in the next day or two.   17. Due to issues with the ARK Developmental/Testing Servers and game crashes we are currently going to have The Center ACA and Scorched Earth ACA offline till issues can be resolved. Issues detected. Client game crashes with certain items in inventory such as Alpha Hearts and other Alpha inventory items. This was confirmed combing through ARK crash dumps. We tried nixing/restricting Alpha's from spawning which caused us to detect a new general ARK issue not related to ACA being that ARK wipes our server configs upon a restart of the server. We are working on the issue but this is pending on updates from both ARK and ACA at this time. Until these issues can be resolved these servers have been taken offline. We are working on a replacement for these servers and will be up and running soon. We know you all love ARK but when it comes to programming issues and bugs within updates this is beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding as we work diligently on getting these servers back online or finding something that will replace these in the near future. Please keep checking back for information on server updates as we continue to test and try to bring you the best and most enjoyable game play. Further note. Our main Primitive+ server is still up and running and we are definitely hesitant to make any changes to this server or perform any server wipes or updates till we can get a better understanding of these current issues. In the future we will try to use a testing/development server to test all updates and patches before we apply them to our main servers as not to interrupt game play once we launch mainstream.   18. ARK Developmental Testing Servers

    Our developmental server will be taken down sometime today. We are not sure what time however. After successful testing we will be moving Scorch Earth and The Center under the Ark Comes Alive mod over to our main box in the next day or so. There may be some down time over the next few days and we apologize for that in advance as we complete the transfer. Once the transfer is complete we hope that everything will run smoothly. As for the regular players who know this game, mods and updates can break some things, however this is beyond our control. Please be patient with us as we get this game up and running using Ark Comes Alive on The Center and Scorch Earth maps.     I go by the name TurboTechie online. This name was given to me by a close friend a long time ago. I am a technological person who works with computers, electronics, etc... Basically if it has a wire or fiber I can work on it. I am an A+ and Network+ certified technician and graduated from ITT with honors. I also have a second Associates degree in business administration. I completed 2 certificate programs in my spare time in Diesel and Automotive Mechanics. I currently run my own computer repair company out of Dallas Texas. I also run a web server for small business sites as well as a few personal sites as well. Due to slow business I started working with the families company full time and that takes up a majority of my day. I also install CCTV systems on the side for commercial and residential customers. I have been playing Battlefield for years and am a franchise veteran. Still think Bad Company 2 was one of the best Battlefields. Glad to be here. My current system is an ASUS M5A97 Motherboard running an AMD Phenom II X6 1095T with 16GB DDR3. Recently upgraded my old nVidia 9800GT to a 960GTX and it makes a hell of a difference.

  23. EA and Origin Access

    To those who are interested according to GameSpot: If you're an EA or Origin Access member, you'll be able to play the game on October 18. The full release will then follow on October 21, though pre-ordering a deluxe or ultimate version of the game will also allow you to play on October 18. From what I have come across Access subscribers will be able to download the typical 10-hour trial (on October 18) which will keep all of our stats until we decide to purchase the game or it is released into the vault. I have come across a few EA site forums where the admins have stated that no games are available in the vault the day of release and are usually added several months after the release date. So those that have EA/Origin Access might see BF1 in the vault the first or second quarter of 2017. I am still debating if I am going to purchase it when released or wait till it appears in the vault. Pricing of the game seems for pre-order is listed at the following according to Origin: Standard Edition Release Date October 21 - $59.99 Deluxe Edition Release Date October 18 - $79.99 Ultimate Edition Release Date October 18 - $129.98 Not sure if I am willing to drop that much on a game but I might need to save up starting today. According to EA's game play videos the game looks fantastic.     I have come across a few players that know how to actually work as a team. Seems that a lot of the players only care about themselves won't throw med kits or ammo and don't revive. And these teams allows end up loosing. Look forward to playing with you. I am great at supporting the team as a medic but not to good on the front line. But it's called teamwork for a reason right?
