Great feedback folks... Kraven, I agree on the transitions - was thinking about changing the camera angle and adding a few sound effects to smooth it out.

I had to kill the render this afternoon Decoy, hosted a work Go2Meeting this afternoon and couldn't figure a decent excuse if someone saw it running. :) I'll pick it back up when I turn in for the night and let it run. Great feedback, I'll add your comments to the list I'm collecting for round 2!

Thanks for the feedback Dimwit, good stuff! I would challenge you in this is exactly the first step in what we discussed. You are applying our umbrella strategy of character depth and story to the first pass look of these characters in a specific action. In our gathering I focused quite a bit on exactly what you detail above, on the interaction between characters via story to drive interest. Rule of thumb is establish the persona and then expand the character, give it depth. They will not be so one dimensional in our broadcast material, especially in context: [Opening Scene - The ADK team...Potential A Team Spin, just need to stick to parody if we go that kind of route] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHDGAG_I5qo [Action Scene] Our fearless meathead, R. Lee Barney runs down a hangar during a boarding action with his compatriots. He takes a few shots to his armor, and turns to the lightly armored science officer screaming at him to lend a hand. (in almost unintelligible grunts) The science officer detaches his robotic hand, it rockets down the corridor and knocks down the defenders flat and right out the side of the hull, causing decompression. [insert campy banter between them to follow] [Our fearless team blasts through the bridge deck with laser cannons] They enter the bridge and the intelligence operative is already sitting at the helm with her boot on the neck of the previous captain. "What took you boys so long? Oh, and I repressurized the hangar deck - thanks for putting on that show." [she eats popcorn, enter A-team theme] I have five skits drafted that would be a ton of fun to make, this above is a quick look at one of them... Edited, I screwed up the vid embed

I'm also working on our intro, have most of the models in place for the shield thing everyone seemed to like. Ignore the text, just a placeholder while I get all this where it should be. I should have a rendered version this afternoon, takes three hours even on my monster PC. Feedback welcome and encouraged as always.
