  1. Game wont launch

I actually had this happen, game crashed and the game wouldn't start. It kept saying I had BF4.exe running but there was nothing. So I just waited and it randomly started. As far as your issue if it happens again try what they said in this forum post.    Gabbatek    Enlisted: 2011-11-02 2015-09-05 04:23AM Quote   Guys here is how i fixed it  go into your battlefield folder and select either bf4webhelper.exe or bf4x86webhelper.exe and go on compatibility settings set them to run in administrator mode I7-2600 3.4ghz (@4.1) Akasa Venom CPU cooler | Gigabyte z77x-d3h | Zotac 980ti Amp | TeamGroup Vulcan O 16GB | Crucial MX100 256GB | Seagate Barracuda 4TB | XFX Pro 850W | Bitfenix Ronin
  2. Game wont launch

@[member='Skid']   There's a few possibilities that could make your game not launch. Try these two things:   1. PBSetup - If you do not have this downloaded please download this. It's basically updating punkbuster with ease, the reason why I say this is you can still connect to a game but not play if PB is not fully updated.   2. MSi Afterburner or Similar Programs - If you use MSi Afterburner or EVGA Tuner or anything like that, close them completely before starting the game. These sometimes block a certain memory from talking with BF4 and the game won't launch or it will disconnect you. This also applies to RivaTuner as well.   If these still don't apply then try launching from a new browser. If that STILL doesn't work, then open origin and view your library. Right click on Battlefield 4 and choose "repair game." Something might have got corrupted, it happens sometimes. If those don't help at all, think about port forwarding. It's possible that the way your router is setup that it may be blocking communication to EA's servers. As a last resort if none of this helps at all, uninstall and reinstall would be the next best step.   - Fail
  3. Anyone actually play #5 still?

@[member='HeYYiTzPaT']   Our TDM server makes me rage still with the crappy spawns. I'd rather have fixed spawns on all TDM maps, at least then it's a linear motion and you know where the enemy is. The random spawns make me so irritable! Then again everything does....
  4. What are your top 3 weapons?

@[member='Marcinkoman']   102,000 kills    Do you sleep?
  5. What are your top 3 weapons?

I haven't used the ACE 52 since the major nerf it took a long time ago and the MG4 I don't use because people make fun of me when I use it :(   O and you can't have a "top thread" without a shotout to Nox! It's no where near as many as he has, dudes a robot with UCAVs...
  6. Absence

I miss you too!  i have no idea who you are....don't hurt me ;)

  8. Best DMR?

Overall now since they've been buffed and tweaked they're all good. When I first used them the RFB and SKS were beast. Now though, I have no clue at all. I suggest the foregrip 100% though if you're constantly moving and doing a run'n'gun style of play. Also I wouldn't use any barrel attachments besides a flash hider. The heavy barrel is good, but if you're suppressed it's a nightmare (I assume still haven't played in a long time). I use the SCAR-H even though it's not the best, use what you like the most and work with it. If it's a fast shooting gun, close quarters are best, if the muzzle velocity is fast you might want to use a 4x and stay in the back and pick people off. It all depends on the gun and adapting to it.    Hope this helps :D   P.S. If you're suppressed do NOT fire while suppressed, your bullets will likely miss and you will lose in a trade. Stop firing for a few seconds get behind cover and re-position. Use angles to your advantage and pop people off in the back of groups rather than the front. Suppressors are good in close range but TERRIBLE in the mid-long range.
  9. To anyone who has Nvidia

@[member='b0nza1']   I looked into it more and it's actually for "SHIELD" which not a lot of people have. Not sure if they use that same service for shadow play or not.
  10. To anyone who has Nvidia

Recently, Nvidia came out with a GeForce Experience update which is awesome! The bad thing is that it installed a bloatware onto my computer (and probably yours, not sure yet). The reason I found out was my CPU was running at 65% to 90% usage constantly, even when I was surfing the web which I thought was weird. So I opened the resource manager for Windows and found MANY TCP connections for NvStreamSvc (it was around 100 + connections). So I found a site that stopped it and disabled it on start.   How do you access the resource manager (For Windows 8/8.1 Users) 1. Right on your taskbar on the bottom of the screen and select "task manager"     2. Once open click on the performance tab     3. Once on the performance tab click (towards the bottom) "Open Resource Manager" it will look something like this     4. Click on the CPU tab and look at the small cpu usage box on the Process Bar. If it's anything over 5-15% then you need to click on the Network Tab and look for any connections called "NvStreamSvc," if you have more than about 5-10 and you have many IPv4Loopbacks, then chances are it's causing bloating on your computer.   How do I stop "NvStreamSvc" 1. Open the start tab and type in "Cmd" 2. When the "cmd.exe" pops up, right click on it and select "run as administrator" 3. Once the box opens type in: sc stop "NvStreamSvc" 4. Now type sc config "NvStreamSvc" start=disabled 5. Type exit and you're done! :D   This will stop the service completely and not allow it to start up and allow it to cause the issues all over again. Again I'm not sure if this is cause issues for others, if it is than I hope I'm able to help you, if not than carry on with your day to day PC Master Race life :D

  12. I can feel it, a zombie mod is coming?? :D
  13. bf4 or hardline?

I'm getting sick of BF4s crap hit detection that goes and comes from round to round. It's never a consistent experience with BF4. I'll have 10 rounds in a row of awesome play, perfect hit detection. Then I have 100 rounds of crap detection, dying behind cover/walls and so fourth. I'm looking forward to BF:H. If it's the same as the second beta it will easily be better than BF3.
  14. What cross hair color should you use?

    Offffffffffffffff.......?
  15. What cross hair color should you use?

The answer is simple, green. I remember reading years ago in college that the Human eye has evolved many times since our existence. Like many other animals, we can see colors but one major difference lies between predator and prey...the ability to see the color green and distinguish it. I can also confirm this with years of experience playing CS 1.6, and CS:S. I tested the color of cross hairs so much that the two main colors I went back too, were always blue and green. Our eyes naturally see blue-green light the most and when it comes to focusing on something, these are the two colors that our eyes can naturally see quicker (to prove this, I ask you this question, what game or tv or computer screen doesn't naturally come with more blue color in it).   If you don't believe me, test it out. Go play a few rounds of Infantry and change the color of your cross hair to green. I can promise you that your 'reaction' times and aiming will be a lot sharper.   P.S. I tried to find articles on eyes and the color green but they were far to in-depth for some people on here...BUT there is articles stating that predators will normally feast on 1 type of animal, mainly because they can't be seen and that the prey can't distinguish the color green that well. I just haven't found it yet, 2 hours and still looking :P
