I'm a father of two girls, ages 19 and 16. I'm also a professional software engineer currently working on iOS projects (mostly iPad). I'm usually on in the evenings, after I've finished helping with homework and eating dinner with the family. I'm also very active in my church, so my Wednesdays will be fairly busy. I'm basically your average boring old family man, living out fantasies of far flung adventure vicariously through my computer.

I started playing MMOs with the original EverQuest, which I played for several years. I participated in the World of Warcraft beta, and played WoW until it became the cesspool that it is today. In both EQ and WoW, I was heavily into raiding, and enjoyed membership in several different progression guilds. However, once the kids came along, my priorities changed, and I became much more casual. This unfortunately soured my relationship with the guild I was in, and after a falling out with the raid leader, I left WoW behind. I've played Dark Age of Camelot, Conan, Elder Scrolls Online, The Secret World, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars Galaxies, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Wildstar.  I no longer have time for serious MMO's (perhaps after I retire, like that'll ever happen), but I'm currently in love with Ark: Survival Evolved, and I'm actively playing on ADK's "The Island" server, building bases and wrangling dinosaurs whenever I find the time.
