Razer just sent out a tweet that said they take the role of being a company "For Gamers. By Gamers." Seriously. . .
So we want to hear your thoughts about Razer. .do you think they are a company that is truly for the gamer, or not?
My personal thought is they've done a lot of great things for gaming in general and have definitely been trying to push the envelope for the gaming community but I do believe that there are others who might be trying to push them a little further. Like Corsair for example....I've got a Corsair mouse and keyboard and I love both of them and they make me question going back to Razer for my home gaming.
Granted I do have an older Razer keyboard that I use at work everyday..and it did manage to make it through the Arizona Summer Heat in the car (it did melt slightly). But I want to get a new one and would prefer an almost silent mechanical keyboard as when I'm awake at 5 am I can get pretty grumpy and even hearing my own clickity clack of the keys can get pretty annoying. (If I'm missing out on an almost silent Razer mechanical keyboard please let me know!)
But I do think that Razer is truly trying to do what's best for gamers, but they do have some stiff competition out there these days. Min-Liang Tan is always communicating with Razer fans and haters for that matter and I think that's something that a lot of gamers truly appreciate. It means a lot knowing that a CEO of 2 large companies cares and is willing to go and communicate on a personal level with consumers. Although sometimes the consumers might not like what he says, I think they can all agree it's a welcome feeling compared to some companies out there.
So what do you think of Razer? Do you think they really do take the "For Gamers. By Gamers." seriously? I'd like to hear your thoughts!
