In their financial report for fiscal year 2015, EA games revealed that the highly anticipated sequel to the first person free running/parkour shooter set in a futuristic minimalistic city opressed by the wealthiest, is scheduled for release before the end of fiscal year 2016 (FY16), which ends March 31st 2016. Although not too many specifics have been released concerning Mirror's Edge 2, with very limited appearances on Gamescom and E3 last year, the trailers and screenshots look very promising. The first Mirror's Edge received excellent reviews when it was first released back in 2008 (IGN 8.5, PCGamer 8.3, Metacritic 81), and, unlike some other games, its sequel is very likely to surpass this.
Besides Mirror's Edge 2, the financial report also mentions a new Mass Effect game, and says both the next Need for Speed game as well as Star Wars: Battlefront are supposed to be coming our way in Q3 of FY16, or Q4 2015. Furthermore, the document stated that FIFA '16 is slated for Q3 of 2015 and a new Plants versus Zombies game will be released in collaboration with Popcap in FY16 as well. Definite release dates for most of these games will probably be officially announced at either E3 (June 16-18) or Gamescom (August 6-9) later this year.
