Overwatch 3v3 Tournament!

Overwatch has been an incredibly successful section in ADK over the last few months. We've seen a lot of growth within our community, and with growth comes new events within the section. It began with us starting our weekly inhouses, which you can learn more about here. With the inhouses being such a great way to play with and against your friends, we knew it was time to introduce our first tournament within the section. We will be hosting a 3v3 tournament on Saturday, January 14th at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central. 

Whether you are brand new or long time member of ADK, we highly encourage you to participate. It will be done using the standard 3v3 rules that blizzard offers. It'll be a great way to show off your skills and compete for real prizes. We are allowing a maximum of 24 participants (8 teams). This means if you want to play, you should sign up right away! Any excess signups will be considered for possible substitutes should a player not show up or drop out early. The teams will be randomly generated to create an equal opportunity for every individual that joins us for the event. Along with the teams being randomly generated, so will the bracket. This is to create a fair and competitive environment. 

Since this is our first time running an Overwatch tournament, we are going to definitely be looking to see if this format will be good in the future. With so many options and gamemodes in Overwatch, this definitely will not be the last competitive event we run. 

There is already a post on the forums with a signup sheet, as well as more rules and information pertaining to the event. Please make sure you read all of the information carefully to ensure you are fully committed to participating.
