"Don't need a giant library to listen to my music" you mean you dont have lots of music switch?
Oh I do, but I don't need the "music library" feature that people tend to look for in their players. I also rename 99% of my songs to a particular filename format so no matter what, I can just do a file search and find them, or sort by filename and find the artist in question. That's just how I roll.

I was assuming this thread was pointed at which players people use and why, mainly based around the particular features that each one offers.

lol, iTunes does that // i checked "manage my library for me" and it renames files when i rename them.. Puts them in folders for me and everything. i love it. just with recent releases they put bloatware in it (ping anyone?)

and ya i work in 2 freezers (1 gets to -10 degrees) 1 Dary Cooler, and 2 slightly tempetured rooms. (Target PFresh)

http://keepvid.com/ - YouTube - Website is self explanatory. (Or you can use Orbit. Same result either way)

http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ - Pandora

For the Orbit DL, you have to open the GRAB IT window before you open Pandora, and each song will pop up as "access". Rename it to "filename.mp4" and you've got an HQ mp4 file that you can listen to whenever. You might be able to save it as other file types that are similar, like .mov, but I found that mp4 worked best for me. Only con is keeping up with which "access" is which song. They're in order so if you keep the Pandora window open, you can just flip back and match up the Nth access to the Nth song played and it should come out right.

http://www.snapfiles...t/m4atomp3.html - Free M4a (mp4) to mp3 converter. Converts your mp4s from Keepvid and Orbit to more usable mp3 files if you need that feature.

Now go and expand your on-hand music collection.
