This is my neighbor's computer, Got 4-way SLI gtx titans And 3 terabytes of ssd, along with another 6 terabytes of hdd. Completely overkill, i think he could have spent a little less, and gotten a nice new desk and chair, but to each their own.

So first, I had to take out my old desk from Staples and build a new built in:

Then I had to figure out a good way to fill it up!

The Power House:  Specs listed in my sig

2 Closed loops water coolers.  1 for cpu, one for gpu.  I was pretty impressed that I could fit everything into a Mini-ITX case.  Top radiator is a 240mm, with push/pull fans.  Second radiator is just a 120mm and I had to mount a pulling fan on the back of the case :D .  Figured the 230mm fan in front was enough to push some air through it.  I was also impressed at the cooling of the Arctic GPU cooler.  Very skeptical but it brought me down over 20c.

Then of course I didn't want to fill her up with HDDs so I had to build a home server:

6TB of storage for all my media w/ redundancy.

Chili, how i that case? I've been looking at that case for a while. But I was thinking of going total air cooling with air flow fans to get it as quiet as possible.

Are you getting a lot of dust? Or did you come up with some filters for the bottom? Your cables look great, how messy is the other side of the case?

Thanks

this case cools like a beast, bottom card @ 21C and top is roughly @ 23-24C and its intake is taken care off by two h80 fans connected to my h100i and controlled from there.

The dust filter they include is great for preventing allot of dust from coming trough but it can be improved with a thicker mesh. and no currently i am not using any filters for the bottom and its not really needed.

currently using a AX860i modular PSU and i can say i had no problems with cable management. (thanks about the cables :D)

While i was installing the psu, should give you a image of how much room you have for managing cables

I definitely dont have the powerhouse PCs some of you have, but I do have an arcade cabinet I play on mostly. lol It started as a school project in SolidWorks and took off from there.

CPU- Intel 4670k OC'd at 4ghz currently

Mobo- MSI z87 gd65 gaming

RAM- 8 gigs of ddr3 1600mhz, OC'd via the mobo at like 1866mhz or something

GPU- GTX660, although Im thinking of stepping it up soon

HD- 1tb HDD for general storage, 120gb SDD for steam and games

The monitor is a 21" screen that runs at 1600 x 1200 and the controls board is made of carbon fiber that I laid up over a cardboard core and fiberglass.

Only my classic arcade/Nintendo/SNES/etc games can really use the joysticks and pushbuttons properly, so Im changing the design to allow the keyboard and mouse to work on a platform that rotates down over the arcade controls.  The whole thing powers on via a fighter pilot style toggle switch I installed.

This is before I upgraded the PC hardware and began enclosing everything

Looking at all these just makes me want to buy a new PC. My laptop just doesn't suit. Ah well, that's what you get living on a university budget and having to be mobile. Laptop is the easiest option for me at the moment.

Let's Segway into America funding the Revolutionary war with tobacco! Then we can turn it into a political discussion where one side accuses the other of being like Adolf hitler which I believe is called Godwin's law (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law)

Our humble setup.

So here is my set-up, I apologize for the quality of the image (all that noise). I am saving up for a high quality DSLR. Like Boogly, I am planning on upgrading here and there mid-August. Nothing major, but you may see a wild HP Chromebox appear. (Will do an update when I upgrade in August.)wp20140716.jpgwp20140625.jpgwp2014bwb.jpgwp2014xdx.jpg
