KernalSpicyWeiner 399 Report post Posted November 1, 2016 TBH I think this is just Microsoft trying to compete with mac for the same audience. It's a cool concept still and it's nice to see Microsoft actually make a sleek looking product rather than a sharp one if that makes any sense X) Sent from my ZTE A2017U using =ADK= Gaming Community mobile app
IIGodHanzoII 47 Report post Posted November 4, 2016 Not bad, not a huge fan of the keyboard. Maybe that's good enough for some UX designers or the like.
Seanofthedead 33 Report post Posted November 8, 2016 Looks pretty cool but don't think i'll be getting one anytime soon.
AOBLXIX 10,972 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 If it didn't cost so dang much, I would definitely look at getting one. Although might go with a Surface Pro instead to replace my MBP, as I'd still need something to be able to take on the go.
KernalSpicyWeiner 399 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 I'm using a surface pro 3 myself. It's amazing. It's powerfully enough. To run all my engineering software. The only problem is and it's biggest draw back. Is that it only has one USB port. And you don't realize how much you Need USB ports till you don't have them X) Sent from my ZTE A2017U using =ADK= Gaming Community mobile app 1 AOBLXIX reacted to this
AOBLXIX 10,972 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Yeah, definitely need a couple USB ports. But with everything that it's able to run, it's definitely more favorable than the MBP for me now.
b0nza1 266 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 I just got the surface book. It's nice. 1T HD. 16gig ram. 1 AOBLXIX reacted to this
KernalSpicyWeiner 399 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 yes. It's really good. If you do get a USB hub I'd recommend getting a powered USB hub(one that plags into a wall outlet) it loses some mobility because if it but. The port doesn't have a high power output so a mouse keyboard and external hard drive all. Won't work together otherwiseSent from my ZTE A2017U using =ADK= Gaming Community mobile app 1 AOBLXIX reacted to this
AOBLXIX 10,972 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Thanks for that info @KernalSpicyWeiner definitely good to know for those who might not have realized. I know I'd definitely need a powered USB hub. haha 1 KernalSpicyWeiner reacted to this
