Build me a PC

Recommended Posts

I do because I don't build budget systems anymore. Time and time again it proved that in the end I spent more money and a whole lot more headaches. I plan my builds for not overclocking with a prayer for more power (plus you never get the power a stock higher cpu even if the specs are the same after).

Most importantly for me personally is stability. My pc's make me money to pay my bills.

Lastly minimal upgrades in the future. On my current pc I upgraded the gpu and cpu and overall the build is now 5 years old and still faster then average. Original cost was $1700 but after upgrades now about $2700 invested. Edited by Bromance

You could check out Cyberware if you're open to buying a pre-built. I just got one about a week ago, and my friend just ordered his as well yesterday. Check my siggy if you're interested.

case is purely what you like to be honest, i would go large, the d14 isnt small so possibly a coolermaster trooper, good airflow and alot of room for cable tidying. no real point it going for monsterly fast ddr3 as the gain is negligible full population would be better. also look at possibly running 2 x wd red in raid.

gone overkill on the psu as i always like to go over what you will need, always nice to have the headroom to not run full power. if your thinking of adding another gfx card to the system then you will need to go higher. make use of the m2 ssd capability aswell, lots of connectivity with the board and will also have no issues with gaming. not overly expensive .

comes in at $983

My favorite website, to pick pc parts and it will tell you what is compatible and what isn't. This build is around 1499. Comes with a 980Ti and a 4790K. Doesn't include a monitor or an operating system. Plus it has plenty of upgrade room.

I second this build.  Maybe switch out for Evo if you don't want liquid cooling.  But who doesn't?
