Trump or Clinton

Recommended Posts

Well, Clinton might be reasonable... Compared to Trump...

Altough, it's hard to give a crap when i don't live in the US to be honest. Because if i could actually vote i'd try to get Shia LaBeouf for president.

He's very inspiring you know, I think he'd get things right....

I don't honestly think Trump will get the nomination. I think the smart money is on a Walker/Christie/Cruz fight off. Bush is still in the lead behind Trump but he comes with too much family baggage to make it. Trump's incendiary demagoguery will eventually wear off. Do remember that we are still in August of 2015 more than a full year out of the actual elections. None of these polls are accurate enough yet to provide us with real meaningful data. So do not despair yet! mayhaps we have a Sanders and (insert any republican other than Trump her) battle royale come November 2016!

It is unlikely that Trump will win under the Republican party... actually he won't win at all. But if he does, I'm gonna say this, a lot of people are gonna be disappointed. All the things he talks about will never happen.

He has a huge ego.

Its no secret, I am a hardened Democrat. I plan to vote for pretty much any democratic candidate. I do believe Clinton will win the Primaries, and beat trump (If he even makes it that far) for the presidency. Now, if I believe she will be a good president? That's for a different thread.

Oh God. You understand that's what's wrong with people right, blindly following parties no matter who they're throwing out.

At least the way I'm getting it is you know that Clinton isn't that great of an option and yet you're still going to vote for her no matter what simply because she's a democrat. Tell me if I'm wrong with that, and I really hope I'm wrong, but that's the way that I read your ambiguous as fuck ending.

In the end I will vote for who I think will do the best job, and I do think heavily on this. Although 99% I agree strongly with democrats. Not to say I don't have Republican beliefs, I do. Although in the end. Its far more likely I will end up voting democratic as I agree more with it.

Do I think clinton is a awesome choice for the presidency? No. Personally there are not many good choices. I REALLY hope a new person without a history or giant wallet (Sorry Trump) will arise to claim it.

Indeed.

Though the two party system is the real flaw. What can you do? 90% of Americans are ignorant sheep being led by their party of choice to whatever their party desires. Democrats. Republicans. They're both the bad sides of the same coin. IT's all shit.

I'm going to vote for Ron Paul. Because regardless of who's "running" or who's got the two big party's nomination. They're all a load of horse shit and I support abolishing the two party system. Viva La Libertarianism.

Neither, both are bad ideas for the U.S.. For moral beliefs I like Ben Carson but he has very little chance in my opinion. But for the love of God no one vote for Bernie Sanders.  If you vote for Bernie Sanders you might as well write "I am a uneducated sheep" on your face. If you actually think college can be "free" you must have either ignored high school Economics or your a pinko-commie. Sanders is an idealist but none of his ideas are practical.

Erm. I hate to correct you. Well. Not really. I enjoy correcting you. You've always been an idiot. But you fit the bill for the typically ignorant republican raised ignorant cunt. So anyways. Bernie Sanders is an idealist. But his ideas are quite practical. Once you accept that the "American Dream" is dead and the more socialistic policies that Bernie supports is actually pretty reasonable. The problem is you're an ignorant American. This country is capitalist led. The CEOs call the shots by using money to mold their country. If you think college can't be free. You're obviously an ignorant American. Multiple countries have free university. A majority of them have a better education system than our country. So your points are literally the puffings of an idiot.  So now that we've covered that you're basically an idiot who doesn't actually even know what he's talking about(Standard uneducated sheep behavior fyi.) Let's discuss the real reason that you don't want to vote for Bernie Sanders. There is only one. He's a socialist. (That's a type of democrat.) He wants to take your money if you do end up working hard and redistribute it to the poor and the lazy. Plain and simple.

So again. Bernie isn't bad because he's an idealist. He's bad because he's a socialist. But regardless. Bernie is the best thing in the democratic party. He is the democratic party's Ron Paul. Something for the internet to get behind and be excited about.

Regardless. Presidential elections don't matter. The president is simply the puppet of the corporations that got him there.

Finally. I understand that you're a privileged white boy who likes flinging his racist comments and idiot ideals on the internet. Keep that shit to yourself in this section. Don't comment here unless you can actually make an intelligent post worth discussing or debating.

Ill take it. But the nations that have the "best education" are actually SO lackluster. Here is a good article from the Guardian, http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jan/27/scandinavian-miracle-brutal-truth-denmark-norway-sweden.

Also yes I do "sling racist comments around and spew my stupidity" But at least ill admit it (also...I have been trying to stop that). And yes I am a "privileged white boy" and I am grateful every day that I have the opportunity's that brings to me. And no I am not a "ignorant American" the "ignorant American" follows a particular party and follows it blindly. I do not follow either party blindly. I would gladly vote for a competent Democratic candidate. I would also vote for a competent Republican.  But looking into the current candidates non of them are particularly good. I mentioned Ben Carson because I like his morale stances (basically he is a Christian, Im a Christian. Id like to vote for him. how is that for being a sheep!)...America is in a tough space on every angle. SO much is changing. Things that were not acceptable 20 years ago are perfectly okay today. So you can and will continue to correct me (at least I hope so). One last thing you barely know me and I rarely post in the political section because as cool as politics are they are dangerous. And

Oh and yeah your right the exact reason I wont vote for Sanders is that he is a socialist. Sorry my young person rant 'rustled your jimmies" I feel have a right to express my feelings however I please and the fun thing is I do.

This post is all over the place, and is definitely riddled with grammatical flaws. Also it is probably incoherent when reading. (like most politicians).

GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Bernie Sanders. As far as Socialism goes, his intentions are to make both collegiate level education and the healthcare system socialized. Which is an excellent idea, regardless of your political ideologies. The medical industry is so rife with corruption it's become a fucking satire in and of itself, with the pharmaceutical industry bankrolling, bribing and blackmailing their way to the top 1% of the pyramid. People like the scumbag, cretin, piece of shit, ass-wipe Martin Shrekli who bought up the AIDS medication "Daraprim," a medication sold at 13.50 and raised the price to 750 dollars. Douchebags like Martin are the people at the very tippy top charging you hundreds of thousands of dollars for simple medications and services and it's why a bag of saline can run you up to 800 fucking dollars for a hospital visit (salt and water, people). The medical industry NEEDS socialism. I had an argument with a member here telling me socialism has never once worked, which is fucking laughable, because almost every iteration and instance of it (outside of a form of fiscal value) is and/or has worked. People like to tote the United States as the best country in the world. It's not. Not even close. I'd rather be in Canada for medical care, our public school system is shit and the only thing we're good at is war.

Furthermore, college education doesn't even NEED to be fucking free. I'd wager the vast majority of this community is within the 20-40y/o bracket and that many of you went to college. In the 70s, it was possible to pay for most of college with a simple summer job. If I want to go to school from a halfway "reputable" college for anything relative to math, engineering or any of the sciences, I'm paying anywhere from (AT LEAST) 25-70K+) A YEAR! That's absolutely ludicrous!

I'm not even a democrat and I don't even believe in Socialism as a form of monetary value/government because history DOES show us that, in terms of economy, socialism does not work. That said, there's plenty of other places where it is in dire need and people need to stop being so damn afraid of it.

I'm not as well read as I'd like to be for this election yet, but for any of you considering voting for Trump, please do a little damn research and realize this guy has no business running anything. The scumbag has bankrupted MOST of the business ventures he's started with and he still collects a 4 million dollar stipend when his OWN business fails. And you want this guy running our economy? Give me a fucking break. And that's not even including his bigoted, bullshit half-hate speech about keeping immigrants out of our country. Face facts, most of the countries south of ours are fucking garbage pits and immigrants can AND will get to our country regardless of whether or not we "build a wall" to keep them all out. Besides, many of the people (not all, some are criminal scum) wanting to enter our country genuinely do want to better themselves so they have a halfway decent standard of living and will work hard to get there (for those economists out there, yes, this makes us money). Yes, some of them are gaming the system, costing us money in taxes, but it's the broken ass system that's the problem, not the immigrants taking advantage of it.

The two party system is garbage and politicians are corrupt, greedy assholes that don't care about you. I personally believe Bernie Sanders is somebody who can and will get things done to better our country and I'm up for logically debating anybody who can argue against him that may change my point of view. If you want to make fun of me for being a "liberal" or "democrat," which I'm not, then go ahead. We need to direct our frustration upward, to the ultra wealthy and elite cocksuckers taking advantage of our every hour worked, every dollar spent and every piece of media listened to. They're controlling our thought, what we watch, how we act and what trends we follow.

Edit: things Bernie Sanders is for:

-Legalization of Marijuana (it's about fucking time)

-very lackadaisical policies in regards to gun control (he doesn't want to take away your guns, like most democrats)

-supports abortion (basic female human right, this isn't the 1950s anymore)

-supports gay marrige (because a guy sucking another guy's dick is the worst of our issues, right?)

Among many other positive things.

I don't think the 1% are to blame for this nations problems. Yes there are massive assholes like Martin Shrekli. Most million and billionaires are self done people who built themselves up. They might run a very successful business or a few very successful businesses. These people are in my opinion to be commended for their success.  But that's just my opinion. Also when it comes to socialized health care I don't think that this is best action for America. Look at what happened with Obama care. And when people say "American health system sucks", wrong it Doesnt suck it is just expensive. Its expensive because  you yourself has to pay for it. American medical technologies are some of the best in the world. And as someone who lives 30 minutes from Canada I have friends who live there who come here to have operations done because it takes WAY to long for their "free" medical service to get to you. America is easily the best place to live on this planet. We have ALL THE FREEDOMS. In some countries we could not  sit here and jabber on about politics the way we do.

The rich are not "controlling us" they are just the smart ones selling us what we as the consumer want. Also where do you think Bernie Sanders will get the money for all his initiatives? It just doesn't grow on trees. It will come from increased taxes.  A few things that will keep me from voting for him is my  stance on Gay marriage and abortion. I take a very Christian stance on those things. (Don't hate on my faith! I don't hate on yours). But marijuana Is a joke. It should have been legal years ago. I dont smoke it but its a plant.

Why the hell do you have the fun conversations while I'm away asshats?

That being said, I've got nothing to add, cause Cream and Zsadist already said everything I would have said better than I would have said it. Well most of it, some of it was the ramblings of Zsadist that you have to filter out.

I, like @[member='Zsadist'], think the two party system is flawed. America being a Constitutional Republic with a representative system mixed with the two party system basically means that in the end, we have little control over our final options of who to vote for come November.

I don't consider myself part of a political party because I can think for myself and don't want my interests to align with a party just because. Next November I don't care who's a republican or democrat, I'll be voting for whoever I think can run this country the best.

I would have to say that I am hoping Bernie Sanders gets on the ballot. Old and seemingly a little crazy but he has a good head on his shoulders. Trump is an Idiot and needs to mind what he says. Mrs. Clinton, though not an idiot she's still just gonna cause a crap shoot as bad as Trump.

I am not dem or rep but i know the one in there now has done enough change to last a while, I dont mind Trump the only thing i dont like is he thinks himself above all others , he is using his own money to fund his campain so no big oil promises or lenders , the only thing that worries me about him is it seems to me he likes to keep the little guy (low - mid income) under his thumb and to me that isn't what America needs right now.

If you're under the impression Clinton is in any way better than trump. You're part of what is wrong with this country

Neither. If you aren't voting for bernie, then you might be a little crazy. Not really, but my pick would obviously be bernie sanders because trump and clinton have no clue what they're talking about or what they're gonna do.

LOL.

The belief that Bernie Sanders is anything more than an internet fad.

I do not believe in Bernie Stalin. Thanks.
