Wow...I just posted that you should put up pictures but I didn't see this until now...

Is that an ANTEC case? It looks a lot like mine in various manners.

Nice work though dude!

Baby bottles FTW!!!

I just got war_jr a Corsair 500D case to replace is first generation Antec 900. His current hardware is in my sig, and from what I can see he should be good to go for the near future

I will be having some fun this weekend moving his rig into its new home. The major reason for the upgrade was the Corsair's easy-to-clean dust filters. After going through the pain of cleaning dust out of my PCs for so many years, good dust filters are a major priority for me when choosing a case. FINALLY, case designers/makers are getting the hint and more and more cases with this important feature are in the marketplace.

Good luck with your build! I will post a pic or two of war_jr's new case over the weekend.

Why go to bare metal? Sorry, but I am a metal smith by day, so made my skin crawl looking at the bare metal and the course sand paper you was using. Unless there was damage, requiring you to sand down so far, a scuff pad (or many call them a greeny weeny) would have surficed. More so unless your using a high quality paint, like dupont.... But you may have a hell of a time getting a nice finish with out proper treatment of the metal or aluminum.

Off my wagon!

Good work!

ya i kinda went in guns blazing with that panel but i quickly realized my fault and didnt do that to the rest of the parts to be painted gunna get some primer and hopefully start painting this week o and i decided to do some internal cosmetic upgrades.. here is a sneek peek of what i have been learning to do today..

This is the first time i have ever tried this.. no proper tools used the paper clip technique to get the connectors out and had some paracord laying around..

needless to say i have ordered myself a mass quantity of paracord in the correct color scheme and the proper connector tools :D going to be resleeving all the wires in my case

about 10 cents a foot. Im thinking about doing the same...with the wires as well as adding 2 120mm fans and a cold cathode or two and doing some cool stuff with cable management (bundling the cables neatly in the middle of the case like two pylons and using neon zip-ties to make it look neat.) havent exactly figured out if I want to do that with cold cathodes or by putting strings of LED's in the bundles.

BTW what camera are you using?! I think ADK has a good amount of "photographers" now and we should probably open a section for it?

I know AOB (the community slut), Radar, Me, and now you I guess do photography so it would be cool to post pics and discuss photography things.

I use a Canon Rebel XS for now, until I graduate and get more money for a nicer camera.

just some quick photos of my sleeving and what pattern i am using more to come stay tuned :D

and i have decided to remove the mesh panel on the panel looking into the computer and replace it with a window so i will have to cut out the frame work for the mesh and then replace it with a piece of acrylic or something i can find

any suggestions of somewhere i can buy a piece that big? the dimensions are. h = 16 3/4th by w = 13 1/2
