Attachments</span></strong><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: 110%; line-height: normal">Fore grip</span></strong><br />Basically before it reduced the horizontal recoil by 50%, in these files it reduces h-recoil only ~20-33% depending on weapon.<br />It also increases the minimum spread 20% ~ 50% depending on stance and weapon.<br /><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: 110%; line-height: normal">Suppressor</span></strong><br />Suppressors will not reduce the damage anymore.<br />Now it will reduce the distance where damage starts/stops to drop off instead.<br />For most weapons it will decrease the min spread by 25% instead of 50%<br />Although looks like M60 will still have the same 50% effect.<br /><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: 110%; line-height: normal">Heavy barrel</span></strong><br />For most of the weapons it decreases ADS min spread by 75 or 50% depending on weapon.<br />Recoil is still increased by 10 or 15% and HIP min spread by 20-25% depending on weapon.<br /><br />It doesn't make AN94 100% accurate anymore while aiming down the sight.<br />Reduces ADS min spread by 75% and only increases recoil by 10%, the hip fire penalty is 20% for AN94<br />G3A1 is same than AN94 except heavy barrel increases recoil 6.7% and hip fire is increased only 14.3%<br /><br />For few weapons it also makes Spread increase per shot 10% higher.<br /><br />It will also increase drop-off end distance by 50% making weapons more deadly at ranges between 50m and 90m, depending on weapon.<br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: 110%; line-height: normal">Flash suppressor</span></strong><br />Will decrease recoil by 17 ~ 25% depending on weapon.<br />For most weapons it increases hip min spread by 20~25% but some weapons don't have any hip accuracy penalty.<br /><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: 110%; line-height: normal">Extended magazine</span></strong><br />There seems to be extended magazine for AS VAL which didn't exist before.<br />With ext mag it will have 30 bullets in a mag instead of 20<br /><br /><br />I'll have complete list of all these soon  <img src="./images/smilies/flyff14.gif" alt="-:>-" title=":>" /> <br /><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size: 150%; line-height: normal">3. That title probably deserved an exclamation mark, but we over-estimated how many we had and now we're out. This year, the lovable, indecipherable <a href="http://www.teamfortress.com/classes.php?class=pyro">Pyro</a> finally gets some time in the spotlight. <i>There will be blood</i>. And not like in the movie <i>There Will Be Blood</i>, either, where there was only blood at the end, and not even very much of it. Ours has lots of blood pretty much all the way through. If the butterscotch mint-sucking old mummies who pick the Academy Awards thought <i>Look Out, There Might Be a Little Blood</i> was great, wait’ll they see how many gallons we managed to cram into our movie. They’re going to have to melt down Fort Knox to make all the Oscars we’re going to win.<br /><br />  <br />

		<title>Battlefield 3 DLC... Where is it?</title>

		<description><![CDATA[Battlefield 3 was announced on Feburary 4, 2011, and soon after we all found out about "Back to Karkand". This expansion pack was going to be an incentive to pre-order and buy the game new. As time progressed the expansions developers slowly started to reveal more and more information. The expansion was set to include 4 classic Battlefield 2 maps, 3 Battlefield 2 vehicles, and 10 classic weapons among other various new features. Now I know what your thinking I've played Back to Karkand and I know all of that, well what you most likely don't know is that Battlefield 3 is supposed to recieve three times the amount of DLC that Bad Company 2 recieved. Bad Company 2 had 16 VIP maps in total, Onslaught mode for consoles and the critically acclaimed Vietnam expansion pack which featured 15 new weapons, 7 new vehicles, and 5 new maps. Add all that up and multiply it by three and you end up with roughly 60 maps, 45 weapons, and 21 vehicles. Now I'm all for DLC, even if I have to pay for it, but where is this supposed stream of Battlefield 3 content? Niklas Fergraeus, lead designer of Back to Karkand, states: "Well, with <em class='bbc'>Battlefield: Bad Company 2</em>, we did a lot of experimenting with DLC, and I think that we learnt a lot along the way. The goal is that any content for <em class='bbc'>Battlefield 3 </em>will be of the same quality as <em class='bbc'>Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam</em>." During a conference call with investors in October, EA revealed that Battlefield 3 has an “aggressive downloadable content plan”, according to EA’s Frank Gibeau. So where is all of this DLC? It's been over 40 days since Karkand released, and we have yet to hear anything about the next piece of content to be released. So are you happy about DLC not being put out? 		<description><![CDATA[Finally it looks as though EA/DICE are hopefully taking a step in the right direction to take care of the many hackers on this game.   For those of you who don't believe that there are any hackers on BF3, you need to take your head and remove it from a certain part of your body and know that there are an insane amount of hackers on BF3.    <br />

Lets hope this patch fixes some of these hacks and then lets also hope for more patches to prevent more of the hackers. <br />

UPnP - Router:<br />
1. Log into your modem / router.<br />
2. Turn OFF UPNP.<br />

Turn off PC UPnP Service:<br />
1. Press: Windows-button (the one between lAlt and lCtrl) + R, a window should pop up.<br />
2. Write: "services.msc" (without the ") then press enter.<br />
3. In the list of services, scroll down to "UPnP Device Host", click it and press "Stop service".<br />
4. Now do the same thing but with the service "SSDP Discovery".<br />
5. Exit the window and go to control panel-> Network and Internet-> Network and Sharing Centre-> Change advanced sharing settings (to the left)-> Under "network discovery" select to turn off network discovery<br />

Firewall Blocking / etc<br />
- Boot MSconfig in start. Disable your Firewall and Anti Virus if its a windows based one. Disable any other process there that might affect you and reboot.<br />
-If game works fine. This means there is some issue with your firewall or Anti virus setup.<br />

ECN Packets has been enabled by a Net Speed Tool<br />

1. open a CMD prompt AS ADMINISTRATOR<br />
2. type "netsh"<br />
3. type "int tcp set global ecncapability=disabled"<br />
ECN packets are Refused by EA. These are FAKE packets to fool the connection.<br />

BF3 PC Lockup / Freeze - with looping audio:<br />
Cause: BF3 bug with onboard (motherboard) audio.<br />
Fix: Install a separate soundcard & use that. Disable onboard audio in BIOS.<br />
*Note users on EA UK forums have had success with Creative X-FI cards.<br />
Graphics Cards Crashing:<br />
This is common with graphics cards that are factory overclocked or have been overclocked by the user.<br />
-Simple fix is to turn down the MHz (underclock).<br />
*Estimate 40-100 MHz.<br />
Try turning the frequency down, until you hit a setting where the game runs nicely without lockups/crashes.<br />

ASUS Cards - End of round crash issue:<br />

PROBLEM: Crashing at the end of every round (BF3.exe has stopped working) just before the scores come up and not being able to play single player.<br />
SOLUTION: If you own an ASUS card (ATi or NV) and you installed the 'Smart Doctor' and/or 'ASUS Gamer' software then this is what's VERY likely causing you end of round crashes. All you need to do is uninstall Smart Doctor and ASUS Gamer, restart your computer and reinstall your video card drivers - that's it.<br />
<br />
If you are experiencing Battlefield 3 black screen issues:<br />
Method 1 (AMD & Nvidia Cards): Update to the latest video card drivers.<br />

APPLY THE WORKAROUND<br />
Requirements<br />
Only real requirements is that you have atleast 2GB RAM. You don't need beyond that even though we are allowing addressing up to 2.5 GB. Also following instructions and being somewhat familiar with working with files in windows is required. Make sure you are using Vista SP1 or later. If not then you need this hotfix that fixes a major blunder with Vista address space - <a href='http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940105' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940105</a> [support.microsoft.com]<br />
That's all, follow the 3 steps.<br />
1) Prepare the operating system to be able to use beyone 2GB address space with a userva of 2.5GB (only 32 bit OS's need to do this): I am purposely using only 2500 for userva for specific reasons and any more will likely not be needed, as a result the kernel will have plenty of space to play in.<br />
<br />
Windows 7/Windows Vista<br />
* In Windows 7/Vista go to Start menu. Go to Accessories. Locate the command prompt shortcut and hover mouse over it. Right Click on the shortcut then select Run as Administrator.<br />
* In the command prompt type this exactly: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2500. Then hit enter.<br />
* Make sure you get a message back confirming the change was made. To verify the entry is there you can type just bcdedit, hit enter, and you should see the entry now listed.<br />
* Then close the command prompt. You just told Vista to increase user virtual address (userva) space to 2500MB.<br />
* Changes take effect on reboot but don't reboot yet.<br />
<br />
SUMMARY<br />
We extended the user virtual address space in XP, Vista and 7 to 2500MB, so now applications can utilize up to that much if they are set to be Large Address Aware. While some 32 bit games/applications are set, Empire is not.<br />
2) Now reboot the PC because Windows needs to set the userva at 2500 which only happens after startup.<br />
If you skip any step it will not work. When you have rebooted you should be good to go. Run the game as normal with the original game shortcut.<br />
<br />
TO UNDO THE CHANGES<br />
For Vista 32 Open command prompt as administrator and type: bcdedit /deletevalue increaseuserva. That deletes the entry.<br />
Reboot and you are back to normal.<br />

-People say that the issue is caused by lack of VRAM.<br />
-BF3 is a VRAM whore.<br />
-Try turning down AA to 2x MSAA, or turning off completely.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[As we have been waiting for Back to Karkand as well as many other updates for some fixes to BF3, the time has finally come.   After listening to the community there is quite another update coming to the BF3 Community!   Below is the changes that will be happening. <br />

We will release an update to the PC version of BF3 on Dec 6th -- that is, Tuesday morning around 8AM GMT next week. This coincides with an upgrade of many of our central systems which will be down for some hours starting around that time.<br />

It will be both a client update -- approximately 2GB in size -- and a server update.<br />
<br />
The client/server combination will be incompatible with older clients/servers. All players will be prompted to download the update once it has been released. All RSP companies will begin upgrading their servers at the same time.<br />
<br />
The client update is large because it contains most of the content for Back to Karkand. This is not ideal, so we aim to make potential DLC content in the future as optional downloads.<br />

Fixed so AT mines only live for 20 seconds after a player dies to prevent infinite mines. (We want to make a different fix in the future, it’s in JIRA).<br />
Increased the Time to Live on sniper caliber rounds to allow extreme distance shots.<br />
Fixed several weapon descriptions, calibers, and fire rates. The weapons themselves have not changed.<br />
Fixed so the M9 and MP443 pistol can be equipped by the opposing faction when it is unlocked at 100 kills.<br />

Reduced the aimed accuracy bonus given by a Suppressor for the MP7, P90, PP2000, PP-19, and UMP45.<br />
Increased the range and FOV for designating targets with the SOFLAM and vehicle Laser Designators.<br />
Decreased the effectiveness of 12g FRAG ammo when equipped on semi-automatic and automatic shotguns.<br />
Slightly Increased the power of Fighter Jet Cannons against all vehicle targets, especially Helicopters.<br />

Also, it will once again be possible to reduce the number of players required to start a round to 1 both in ranked and unranked mode. We changed it back after getting a lot of negative feedback from both individuals and the RSP companies.<br />

Our plan for the future is to introduce a warm-up mode, where players can move about and play the game, but with scoring disabled; then, when the number of players goes above the threshold -- that's when the real round starts.<br />

<p>DICE applied some... let's call it UNUSUAL logic to the tactical flashlight weapon attachment in its just-released <em><a class="game" href="http://www.g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/48696/battlefield-3/">Battlefield 3</a></em>. That logic being: generally speaking, flashlights should be bright enough to scorch the average human retina. You know what I'm talking about if you've played <em>BF3</em>'s multiplayer; it's ridiculous.</p><br />
<br />
<p>The good news is, DICE hears you. The team may not have a full grasp of light wave physics, but they're willing to learn. <em>Battlefield 3</em> will be patched and the over-effectiveness of the tac flashlights will be cut down. That's what core gameplay designer Alan Kertz said during the <a href="http://www.twitch.tv/dontrevivemebro/b/299580365">Don't Revive Me Bro podcast</a> (via <a href="http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/11/battlefield-3-patch-to-nerf-tactical-lights-rebalance-anti-air-vehicles/">PC Gamer</a>); he later followed up his promise with a <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/Demize99/status/133891163617898497">tweeted image</a> revealing what the patched lens flare effect will look like (above).</p><br />

		<title><![CDATA[BF3 Aircraft "Help"]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[Having troubles with aircraft (namely jets) in BF3? Try these tips I've come to find after quite a while in a jet:<br />
<br />
- Control mainly with the arrow keys, your mouse is a POS handling-wise... (shoot with space bar)<br />
- Make use of C (view switch between 1st/3rd person) to get a better grasp on where you're heading<br />
- Turning too sharp while going too fast (it's happened at low speeds as well, just be careful) will lock up your jet momentarily and make switching directions hard<br />
- If you find it hard starting out in general because of the shitty machine gun, try going to a near-empty Caspian Border map, steal a jet, but instead of taking off, slowly roll up to a point (the Antenna and B seem to be easiest) and capture it. Just a few caps and you have flares.<br />
- As for flares and using them efficiently, pay close attention to the sounds. There will be 3 different unique sounds you need to watch out for<br />
-- 1st sound: Enemy is locking on<br />
-- 2nd sound: Locked on<br />
-- 3rd sound: Missile fired... it'll sound a little bit different in tone than the first two sounds, at this point it's best to wait just a second or two then fire your flares.<br />

This morning, we were reviewing this year's Third Annual Scream Fortress Halloween Update, and we realized that it is probably too scary. Scratch that - it's <em class='bbc'>definitely</em> too scary. This much concentrated terror would be like throwing you into the deep end of a pool... <em class='bbc'>With no lifeguard on duty!</em>[sound of lightning hitting a bat] But then, oh thank God, here comes a lifeguard. Sayyyy, he looks familiar. <em class='bbc'>OH MY GOD</em> it's Dracula! No wait, it's even worse! It's legendary Hollywood triple threat, Ethan Hawke! Acting! Directing! Writing! But not swimming! <em class='bbc'>Everyone</em> knows he can't swim! What monster would hire Ethan Hawke to be a lifeguard? Does this cursed rec center not have ANY lifeguard hiring oversight committee? <em class='bbc'>IT DOES NOT!</em> AWOOOOOOOOOOOO!<Br><br />

The point is, if we don't let all of TF's new players dip their trembling pinky toes into the shallow end of the blood pool before we unleash next week's scare-credible Third Annual Scream Fortress Halloween Update, they would drown in their body's own terror juices.
