BF3 - Competitive Rant about March Patch

I wish they had kept the local multiplayer from bf2...even without battlerecorder that was probably the best thing about the game...just being able to screw around with people you already knew (I was never a competitive player but I can understand). I personally think they ditched it to implement battlelog, which is still really stupid. I won't be buying any more games without an ingame server browser, regardless of its content.
I agree that suppression is way overpowered, but they (in that podcast) said they were looking into reducing that. At this point I believe that EA is just an evil puppetmaster, ruining golden series(serie?) at will.

Now that you mention it Elegy you make a good point. Although I have to say that online gaming console and PC is going to shit beacuse of noobs, hackers, and whiners. There 3 groups of people have damaged the gaming industry more then any group or decision. Honestly I think this patch would not have made so many changes if it wasnt for people whining and bitching about people killing them and they want to either blame it on hacks or "overpowered" weapons. The tool is only as good as the person using it.

Now as far as EA pushing out competitive players, that kinda makes sense. The people who really notice the changes and really hate them are the people who are the above average player. I have noticed the avg. Joe playing the game have not noticed any major changes. Mostly probably due to the fact they do not have the BS suppression and other changes holding them back. They need to roll back this patch.

Still better then COD........ Took an awesome COD4 and down hill, even under ground now....... But I empathize with your point!

its always funny how the old games like cod4, cs 1.5 (notthat1.6debacle), dod, bf2, and even bc2 all have polished gameplay but without all the nice eye candy nor the social media network crap that is battlelog. i dont need half my game populated by the likes of facebook and myspace. to hell with battlelog, apparently it was too hard to program and FULL MULTIPLAYER GAME so they half assed it and made into a social media zoo. i could care less about my stats/achievements/level if they just get the game right.

for crying out loud, i can vault over a fallen vending machine on its side but i cant vault nor jump over railings? i can bunny hop with ease but i can't jump into a subway car? i can jump over a ledge of a bulding without getting hurt but if if i walk over a rock i suicide or just die? i can join a server and then have it crash without saving any of my progress at all? i can fire m320 or rpgs that just dissapear into thin air 1/9 times? i can hit a guy square in the chest with m320 or rpg and have it 0 dmg while he kills me? i can fire an rpg at a tank and then die but my rpg round just evaporates?

did dice fix any of this? no no no, supression was way more important. nerfing the famas into oblivion along with the m320 was way more important. adding communication rose which no one uses is way more jmportant. completely glmping shotgun rounds (no i barely use the usas) is more important. making sure jets are now near impossible to take down is more important.

i dont think dice wanted to make a game-changing battlefield. they wated to make a cod magnet, and they succeeded. fps no longer contains intelligent gameplay. it no longer requires methodical aim much less teamplay. instead, these companies saw an untapped market while cs only catered to a more mature community. they wanted rvenue not only from the comptetitive community but from every tom dick and harry they could find. most fps players these days dont understand what it takes to make a balanced game.

most fps gamers nowadays are more consumed with what is wron withthe game, not what is wrong with them. when they get killed back to back by the same weapon over and over again, instead of using a little bit of tact, they bitch whine and moan to the developers. this whole social media crap that is battlelog just enabled these nerftards to cry about anything that makes them unhappy. i dont even hate hackers anymore, really, i dont. because at least theyre not fudgin up the gameplay every 3 months by bithcing about this and that to the devs. if every single gun that kills you is overpowered, maybe stop using guns? at least bf3 give you the option. back in cs or dod, you had no options other than leave or get better. nowadays you can spam rpgs, m320, nades, plant claymores everywhere, drop mines, fly choppers, jets, even spam nades. but instead we got people constantly wanting to change the game to what THEY WANT not what the community wants. everyone bought the game, not just you. no one is forcing you to play metro, but instead they gotta come in and bith about my m320 spamming. and like little bitches that they are, they cry to daddy/dice. and what happens? the whole gets changed for a few idiots that dont get th concept of choice, NO ONE FORCED YOU TO PLAY.

for every little bitch crying about the OP this or that, there is probably 10 players that are FINE with the game as it is. ts funny how those who forced this crappatch on us tell us to adapt or get lost. when in reality, they were the ones who couldnt adapt in the first place. so instead they crid like a bitch to dice and got their way. now all of a sudden our points are invalid? fine, pretty soon youll have NO ONE to play with except people who bitch just like you and then what?

you can appease a complainer by giving him everyhing he wants and he will turn around and still complain why you didnt make him work for it.

nicely worded elegy. No game was like bf3 pre patch, now its to the point where i don't even want to play the game anymore. its sad. it was such a good game, now its just BS
